This Saturday was a gorgeous day in Santa Cruz. After all the rain we’ve had, when the sun came out, you could almost see the flowers blooming as you watched.
I snapped some pictures of some of the blossoms in our garden. Help identifying the plants would be welcome!

Last weekend I took a half-day from working on my master’s project and headed to Palo Alto Baylands with Colin. It turned out to not be the most picturesque place, but it was still interesting. We spent most of the time watching the canadian geese, although we also saw a blue heron and a pheasant!
