On the last weekend of February, Eli and I headed to New York City for his grandmother’s birthday. Every year it is a great excuse for his side of the family to get together for a large party. It’s always chaotic, and an excellent time!

Springdale is a gorgeous little town, nestled in this amazing valley that doubles as the entrance to Zion National Park. We spent the night in Springdale and then headed into the park. As I mentioned before, we were there at pretty much the exact wrong time. There was very little snow left and the plants hadn’t started turning green yet, so there was a lot of brown in the landscape. Given all that, it was still incredible! Continue reading
