Candy Rainbow Quilt

The South Bay Area Modern Quilt Guild decided to attempt 31 quilts in 31 days for a charity drive for Jacob’s Heart. I ended up finishing two quilts, and this was the first of them. I had been wanting to try out the Stitch and Flip pattern for a while and it seemed the perfect opportunity. I used a jelly roll (a single fabric line, pre-cut strips 2.5″ wide) of Happy Tones by Michael Miller to make this candy-colored rainbow quilt.

I finished it off with rainbow binding because rainbow on rainbow would hopefully brighten any child’s day!

Details:
Size: 50″ x 60″
Fabrics: Happy Tones Jelly Roll, Kona White (front) Unknown flannels on the back
Design: Strip and Flip by Cluck Cluck Sew, with some modifications
Amount of candy colored confetti lint created by pinked edges of jelly roll: Infinite. I’m still finding it.
